Founded in Zug in 2016, the ecoTrees AG currently manages a total area of 650 hectares.
ecoTrees AG produces the highest quality wood – 450 cubic metres per hectare – which is valued by customers for interior fittings, musical instruments, designer furniture and boats. The tree nursery has a capacity of 100,000 trees per year, which are sold to the plantations and to interested parties and new plantation owners.
ecoTrees AG has the people and the expertise in agriculture, distribution, management, finance, legal and taxation to transform vacant, unutilized land into profitable and productive tree plantations for our clients and the local communities.
In contrast to conventional forestry with natural but very slow-growing trees, ecoTrees AG operates an economical plantation. With the expertise of ecoTrees AG’s agricultural engineers, who look after the plantation full-time on site, the company enables healthy agriculture. ecoTrees AG is a centre of excellence for all aspects of organic paulownia cultivation. ecoTrees AG has been successfully operating tree plantations since 2013 and cultivates an area of over 150 hectares. An experienced and competent team of around 20 people is available on site in Romania.
ecoTrees AG’s environmental balance sheet: The plantations generate over 1,500 tonnes of oxygen in the atmosphere every year and reduce CO2 emissions by 2,500 tonnes.

ecoTrees AG will find a reputable operating company for you to protect your quality investment. Our operating company will advise you on the best time to harvest. Once the trees are harvested, they will assist with the sale and transport of your wood to the buyer and pay you the proceeds .
